SENIOR FOR SENIOR PROGRAM

The Senior for Senior Program is designed to place senior dogs who have been deemed unadoptable due to age and medical conditions with senior fosters (55+). This program supports seniors who would love the companionship of a dog but may not be able to afford the medical expenses associated with pet ownership.

In this program, the foster is responsible for providing food and treats, while

Wee Ones Dog Rescue covers all medical expenses.

When adoption isn’t possible due to age-related or ongoing medical needs, these dogs remain in permanent foster

care, medically supported by the rescue, so they can continue to enjoy life with their special person.

If you believe you are a good fit for this program, please fill out our foster application.
