Whether you’re passionate about supporting foster homes, organizing fundraising efforts, building community partnerships, or providing compassionate support to pet owners during difficult transitions, there is a role for you at Wee Ones Dog Rescue.

SURRENDER COORDINATOR

The Surrender Coordinator is a compassionate and empathetic point of contact for individuals needing to rehome their pets. This volunteer role involves responding to surrender applications, communicating directly with owners, and guiding them through the process with care and respect. Strong emotional sensitivity, professionalism, and the ability to handle difficult conversations are essential.

FUNDRAISER COORDINATOR

The Fundraiser Coordinator leads and organizes Wee Ones Dog Rescue’s fundraising initiatives. This volunteer will plan upcoming events and campaigns, connect with local businesses for collaboration opportunities, and work closely with the Treasurer and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure fundraising efforts run smoothly and effectively. Strong organization and communication skills are key.

FUNDRAISER ASSISTANT

The Fundraiser Assistant supports the Fundraiser Coordinator in executing fundraising events and initiatives. This role may include outreach, event preparation, donor coordination, and day-of support. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in nonprofit fundraising while making a meaningful impact.

FOSTER COORDINATOR

The Foster Coordinator maintains strong relationships with Wee Ones’ foster homes and acts as a key support liaison. This role includes tracking veterinary appointments, coordinating transportation when needed, gathering regular updates on dogs in care, and ensuring foster families feel supported and equipped. Strong people skills and organization are essential.

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

The Volunteer Coordinator manages communication and engagement with the volunteer base. This includes maintaining an up-to-date volunteer database, tracking areas of interest and availability, and helping coordinate volunteer efforts during events and fundraisers. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to keep people organized and connected.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH COODINATOR

The Community Outreach Coordinator builds and maintains relationships with local businesses and community partners. This includes securing sponsorships for dogs, veterinary care, and events, as well as sourcing donations such as food, supplies, and fundraising support. This role is ideal for someone confident in outreach and passionate about growing community partnerships for animal welfare.
