Fundraising Event | Beach Glass Party!
June 8 2026 | 6pm - 8pm | Truro Food Bank (580 Prince St., Truro)
Join us for a relaxing and creative evening at our Beachglass Party! Each participant will create their own 5x7 beach glass artwork using authentic beach glass collected from Pictou County. All supplies are included, and coffee and light snacks will be provided.
Cost: $15 per person

Our dogs need toys!
For many of our dogs, toys help them settle in, build confidence, stay busy, and simply learn how to relax and have fun in a home environment. Some arrive with nothing of their own and discovering toys for the first time is always really special to see.
If you’d like to help out, we’ve put together an Amazon Wishlist with a few items our fosters use often.
Bargains & BBQ Bash!
June 13 2026 | 8am - 3pm | Truro Fire Hall (163 Victoria St, Truro)
Join us for a day of delicious BBQ and amazing finds at our new-to-you treasure tables, all in support of Wee Ones Dog Rescue. Come hang out, shop, eat, and help us continue giving dogs in need the care and second chances they deserve.

Join us for hot dogs, burgers, and lots of homemade baked goods available including loafs, cookies, date squares, biscuits, homemade jam, and more.

This will also be the draw date for our Father’s Day Cooler Raffle, so make sure to grab your tickets before the winner is announced!
Come by for lunch, pick up some treats, and help support the dogs in our care. We hope to see you there

Poppy came into our care after years of unmet medical needs. Following an emergency veterinary visit, she was diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), and it was also discovered that both of her kneecaps are slipping out of place. Her road to recovery will include treatment for her IVDD, dental surgery, hernia repair, and eventually an orthopedic consultation for her knees.
These procedures will come with significant medical costs, and we are asking for your help to give Poppy the healthy, comfortable life she deserves. Every donation makes a difference.
Fundraiser for Winnie's Wheels and Vet Bills!
After a consult with a neurologist, we’ve learned that Winnie’s paralysis is permanent. She will need ongoing physiotherapy, including laser and hydrotherapy, and will soon be fitted for a wheelchair to help her gain more independence.
