Important Note: Winnie is an IVDD "down dog" with paralysis affecting her hind end. She requires ongoing mobility support, physical therapy, and assistance with bladder and bowel management.

How did she get here:

​Winnie came into rescue after developing mobility issues related to Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). She has been receiving ongoing rehabilitation and physical therapy while in foster care and is now ready to find a committed family to continue her journey.

She needs a home where someone is present most of the time or willing to take her along on adventures, as she does not do well when left alone.

 

Her ideal family will continue her physical therapy, provide lots of affection, and appreciate her larger-than-life personality.
