About Phoebe

Phoebe is a gentle, affectionate girl with a silly side and a big love for her people. She is curious and loving with both people and dogs, and she enjoys cuddles, fetch, car rides, walks and plenty of puppy naps.

She has typical bursts of puppy energy but is currently more on the moderate-to-low energy side. She settles nicely after play or a walk and is also wonderfully quiet in the home.

Phoebe is doing exceptionally well with house training and will sit by the door to let you know when she needs to go outside. She is also very responsive to her humans and redirects easily when told no. Like any puppy, she is still exploring the world with her mouth and occasionally needs reminding that socks, plant soil and rocks aren't snacks!

Phoebe can be timid around new or loud noises and is more of a follower than a leader. With patience and positive exposure, she is becoming more confident every day.

What type of home is Phoebe looking for:

Phoebe would ideally have another confident, friendly dog in the home who can help her build confidence and show her the ropes. If she is the only dog, her humans should be experienced and dog-savvy.

She would do well in a home with children aged 7+ and is learning to appropriately approach cats. Her family should be patient and committed to continuing her socialization and confidence-building rather than simply comforting her when she is nervous.

Phoebe is a sweet, gentle girl who will flourish with a family that gives her the guidance and encouragement she needs to become a confident young dog.
