Personality Traits:
FRANKIE
-
Shy
-
Lovable
-
Pleasant
Frankie may take a little time to feel comfortable, but once he does, he's a devoted companion. He loves cuddling with his people and his brother, Chester. He's not particularly interested in toys, preferring treats and quiet snuggle time instead.
CHESTER
-
Affectionate
-
Gentle
-
Funny
Chester has a playful side that keeps his foster family entertained. He loves squeaky toys, basking in the sunshine, going for walks, and flopping onto his back for a good belly rub. If there's a blanket nearby, there's a good chance he'll be hiding underneath it!

What type of home are they looking for:
Frankie and Chester would thrive in a calm, loving home where they can enjoy a predictable routine and plenty of time with their people. They're accustomed to a quiet, rural environment and appreciate having their humans nearby. While they have shown that they can adjust to busier surroundings, they may bark to alert their family when someone arrives at the door or driveway.
Frankie can be shy around adults, while Chester may initially be nervous and view unfamiliar people as intruders. However, Chester has a simple way of making friends: offer him a treat and give him time to settle in! Both boys will benefit from patient introductions and a family willing to let their personalities shine at their own pace.

Non-negotiable 'must-haves':
-
Frankie and Chester must be adopted together as a bonded pair.
-
A calm, patient home that will allow them time to adjust to new people and surroundings.
-
A family prepared to provide regular companionship and a comfortable, predictable routine.

Training:
Both boys enjoy walks and are comfortable on leash. They are crate-trained and know the command come. They are accustomed to sharing a crate and will often choose to nap there together or retreat to it when they want to relax.
They are mostly house-trained, although occasional accidents may occur. Frankie has a history of marking, particularly when adjusting to a home with other male dogs. This behaviour has improved considerably but may still happen from time to time. He would benefit from continued consistency and patience.
Frankie still needs work on sit and stay, while Chester would benefit from further practice with basic commands.
